Alladin and his Jinn

Once there was a fisherman named Jamil who lived in a small village. He worked very hard, but his luck never seemed to favour him.

One day, hoping his fortune might change, Jamil went to the river. He cast his net into the water and waited for hours but caught nothing. Feeling hopeless, he decided to try one last time. He prayed to Allah and threw the net again.

After a while, Jamil felt a heavy weight in his net. Excited, he pulled it up, only to find a strange old bottle with ancient writing on it. Curious, he opened the bottle. Suddenly, thick smoke poured out and took the shape of a Jinn!

The Jinn told Jamil, “Free me, and I will grant every wish of yours. I am now your slave.”

Jamil asked the Jinn, “Can you really do anything?”

The Jinn reassured him, “Nothing is impossible for me!”

Jamil thought carefully and acted wisely. He said, “How can I trust you? Show me your power by going back into the bottle.”

The Jinn, eager to prove himself, turned into smoke and went back inside the bottle. As soon as he did, Jamil quickly sealed the bottle and threw it far into the river.

Moral of the story: Always keep your wits about, and think carefully in tricky situations. Greed can lead to trouble, but wisdom can save you.
