Kallar Kahar

A little way up from Kallar Kahar, there is a hot spring that flows down from the mountains, passing by a shrine before merging into the Swaik Lake.

The water of this spring is renowned for its healing properties, particularly for curing skin diseases. People from far and wide travel to this place, bathe in the spring, and many of them return healed.

It is widely believed that this miraculous healing is due to the blessings and spiritual grace (barkaat and karamat) of the revered saint buried at the shrine.

Commentary: the story is likely referring to the shrine of Sakhi Hoo Bahoo, also known as Darbaar Moraan Wali Sarkar. The Chilla Gah of Hazrat Baba Farid Gunj Shakkar is also in close proximity to this site.
